A 5K race for those who would like to run, and 1K walk for walkers, families, and stroller enthusiasts!
Atlanta’s Piedmont Park (see “Race Map and Directions” for details)
November 8th, 2015, 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
On-site registration begins at 8:30 AM, 5K and 1K will begin at 10:00 AM.
Early Bird Price (before October 1st): $30 for adults (12+) and $5 for kids (3-12)
Regular Price (October 1st through November 7th): $35 for adults and $10 for kids
On-site registration at the race: $35 for adults and $10 for kids
Register before November 1st to be guaranteed a swag bag, including a commemorative t-shirt and goodies!
There will be prizes for 5K top finishers and for best decorated strollers in the 1K, following the races.
Post Race Entertainment and Food:
If you are worried about getting bored after the race, fear not. We will be raffling off prizes, have family friendly games, an interactive puppet show, and speakers/music.
What activities will there be?
First of all, there is the race! Following the race, we will have music and a brief speaker to discuss the issue of maternal mental health. There will be plenty of refreshments, and an awards ceremony to celebrate top 5K finishers and best-decorated 1K strollers (if you choose to decorate and walk with them). We will also have a kid-friendly puppet show and games and activities like face painting.

Where do I pick up my race packet and info?
Early packet pickup will be available at Big Peach Running Co. in the Town Brookhaven shopping center from 12-3pm on November 7. Or, you can pick up your packet on race day at our registration table. If you are eager to see the surprises in your packet- which you should be!- we recommend picking up the packet the day before.

I don’t have a family—can I come anyway?
Yes!!! Please do! There are still plenty of activities for you to take part in!
I have a family—can I bring everyone?
Yes! Please do! There are activities designed for all ages!
What do I do and what do I bring on race day?
Park and walk over to the Charles Allen Drive Gate entrance off of 10th Street. You will see our banners, start/finish signs, registration tables, and lots of excited people. Please try to arrive 30-45 minutes before the race so that you can warm up, check in, and be ready to go. Bring your racing number, items that you might want to carry, clothing layers that you might need, and some cash if you wish to buy raffle tickets to win prizes or would like to make a donation. Food, water, and post-race entertainment are all free.
What do I wear?
Although it’s Atlanta, it will also be November, so come prepared with layers or anything you think will keep you comfortable. The dress is race/athletic wear comfortable. If you get your packet early, please feel free to wear our shirt, or you can use it as something dry to change into after the race.
